Dr. Karen Biser
Dr. Karen Biser was born and raised in western Kansas. She was involved in a variety of sports throughout school, excelling in basketball and tennis. She continued her athletic and academic endeavors at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
During her final year of college, Dr. Biser began experiencing headaches that did not respond to traditional treatment. She was referred to a chiropractor where she experienced complete resolution of her headaches. Inspired by the profession's holistic focus on wellness and prevention, and impressed by her own experience with chiropractic, Dr. Biser attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian of her class. She has been practicing with Gardiner Family Chiropractic since November 2006.
Dr. Biser has a special interest in fitness, rehabilitation, and strength training, and she has been trained as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has also undergone training in the Kinesio Taping Method through the Kinesio Taping Association. She is also very passionate about the healing power of food and believes that proper nutrition is truly nature's medicine.
Dr. Biser enjoys the outdoors and particularly likes to hike. She is passionate about music and loves to travel any chance she gets. She feels fortunate and honored to care for the people of her community.
Dr. Biser is a member of the Maine Chiropractic Association.
