Dr. Paul L. Pidgeon

Dr. Pidgeon and his wife, Dr. Kathleen Peters, opened Gardiner Family Chiropractic in 1989 and have been honored to provide excellent chiropractic care to the community for the past 18 years.

Dr. Pidgeon's health care career began in the Air Force, where he was an Operating Room Technician. He decided to become a medical doctor after that experience, and en route he earned a Master's Degree at Southern Illinos University. The summer before he was to begin medical school he experienced a neck injury that did not respond to medical care. He saw a chiropractor and was so impressed with the results and the philosophy of natural health care that he transferred to National College of Chiropractic. He graduated in 1981, and invested two more years gaining experience as an associate.

In early 1984, he and Dr. Peters opened their first chiropractic office in Chicago. They ran this successful office for nearly four years before deciding that the big city was not where they wanted to live and raise a family. They took the next two years off and traveled the world, learning, and looking for the best place to settle down. They chose Gardiner, Maine.

Besides caring for patients, Dr. Pidgeon is the Chief Administrator and Project Manager of Gardiner Family Chiropractic. He is an avid golfer, and still enjoys travel with his wife, Kathleen and their son, Dan.

Dr. Pidgeon is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and past officer of the Maine Chiropractic Association. He is certified in Cox Flexion/Distraction therapy, and is an expert at a variety of chiropractic techniques.
