I had experienced a continuous string of pulled lower back muscles combined with constant neck pain. This led me to physical therapy, which was partially successful in treating my condition. My daughter suggested chiropractic treatment as an alternative. I was skeptical about chiropractic care because it didn’t seem to be as focused as physical therapy, for example.
I was intent on resuming my exercise regimen (weight lifting, walking, hiking) without pain! Plus, I wanted to strengthen core muscles to prevent further back pain. Chiropractic care enabled me to accomplish this in conjunction with back and neck stretches.
I tell people that are considering chiropractic care to keep an open mind! Chart your own progress and work with your chiropractor to determine what’s working for you and what isn’t. It is also very important to keep up with your wellness care; it makes a world of difference.
I love the staff at Gardiner Family Chiropractic! They are always welcoming. I experienced a level of care that was very personal – something that isn’t always a part of other medical care.
